Zincs

What kind of zincs do you use on the steel rudders and prop shafts? I ordered the zincs from M and didn't get any for the steel parts.

I've gotten my anodes from Boatzincs.com. They have a separate listing for Marinettes for the bar strips:

I've used their recommendation of using that bar strip for the rudders, keel, and trim tabs.
For the propeller shaft I've used the "egg" anode that's worked quite well.

same as for rest of the boat. replace when they are 50% "used up." By the way, if shafts are properly isolated, they shouldn't require any zincs. Conversely, if the shaft zincs show appreciable wear, shafts may not be isolated.
