60 MPH!!! Are you serious? That would be the fastest Marinette in history.
Slow Jeff
62 was my fastest recorded speed in it. It was terrifying. The boat is very stable and comfortable at 45. 50 is pretty sketchy and at 60 I think a ripple would make it backflip.
But yes, it is peppy.
My 32 tops at 27mph, I'm pretty sure I could tow my 32 faster with my 28.

Tracy, I believe I can improve on those numbers as well. Depending on which Bravo outdrive I buy next, there is more propping to try. I believe a duo prop Bravo III would be the best for cruising and efficiency, but good used ones are hard to come by for the price that I'm willing to pay. Overall at this point, I am pleased with the performance and efficiency. But there is always room for improvement!
Those duoprop setups are slick. Seat of the pants performance feels like about 25% more horsepower when I run similar boats back to back with the same engines.
The maintenance is expensive and parts are even more so. While I like them on other people's boat, I stay traditional with mine that need to make money.
If you can improve your current numbers, that is damned impressive.

Here is a picture of the boat. I added ~1200lbs of sand bags, and 5 passengers and the MPG dropped to 2.0 at 30 MPH. 3450 RPM. I have an alarm going off near 3500 rpm. I'm not sure what it is, but it turns on quickly as the RPM nears 3500 RPM, and off as I back off. I verified the Tach is correct with a hand held tester, the oil temp is fine. The motor has smartcraft, so I will have to get the bluetooth sender next year, and figure this out.

Damn cool LCR! How much of a spacer do you have on the Bravo 3 to get it to grab water?

Is it possibly starving for water at 3500? Usually the alarm is for low oil pressure, low gear lube in monitor bottle or engine overheat.

I do suspect water starvation, but it is really odd how quickly the alarm comes on as the RPM goes up, and then off as the RPM drops. It happens reliably in a second or two. The extension is about 5 ft.

Here is the start of the interior remodel I did last year to move the helm forward 18" to install an additional 130 gallons of fuel.
