Hello all ! Here's some info some of you may be able to use. I know many of the Chrysler powered M's had Carter fuel pumps, and many of the 80's models had the type that were not serviceable, but...if yours has the older style that can be dis-assembled, I have found a good kit to re-build it. A company call Then & Now Automotive offers a kit for the old Mopars. The web site is difficult to navigate, so I called and ordered direct from them. The kit number is #CK-114, comes with new diaphragm, 3 new check valves, gaskets, pins, etc... They even have a YouTube video on it, very easy rebuild. Although their video is showing a Ford pump rebuild, it's the same pump (Carter supplied many manufacturers). The hardest part of it was crawling below deck and pulling the pumps off ! Costs a lot less than new pumps too.
