There was a few factory triangles cut in a few of the original webbing stringers, and we also added a few. Water does drain to the keel, although slow at times.

Fascinating project!
Sure wish I lived nearby so I could give you a helping hand.

Swapped trailers under boat. Borrowed a buddies trailer for it to sit on after the engines go in. Old trailer was too short and did not support the stern at all. We used a fork lift, loader and a couple tow straps to and it for the swap.

Sitting on better trailer until I can lengthen the old one.

Engines mounted, transom assemblies installed, engines aligned, outdrives installed. Slapped some primer on the bare metal.

Have you tried the Fastjeff jump on the cavitation plate to see if it moves test?

Jeff, the transom has passed the jump method, and the full throttle method. Both passed with flying colors. The welder and a couple engineers that looked it over were quite confident in the end product.

Paint job is quite bad, I had run out of time to get a decent color match. So I just slapped some paint on it before the launching to cover up the primer. Next spring I plan on repainting the whole boat from the rub rail down to the bottom paint.
