Looking for a machine shop in the Atlanta area to rebuild / refurbish a set of 318 heads. Nothing wrong with the heads. Simply having them serviced while off the motor.
Thanks in advance.

Have used Dover in the past, as stated good people, good price. Gary Grimes in Alpharetta is top of the line, 770-475-5272.

Maybe Dover got better. I had a terrible experience with them. They left media in my Mercedes 280SE head which ruined the engine.

David Ball at Ball Machine in Lilburn is a champion machinist. He has done many jobs for me both personally and professionally. I have absolutely no qualms in recommending him.

Eric,
I know you did not ask about upgrades, but have you considered converting to magnum style closed chamber heads? There is a lot of performance and efficiency to be gained using these modern heads with a closed combustion chamber. Just a thought.
