We bought our 1987 Marinette 32 FB in July 2022, thanks to this wonderful sight for all the great information from everyone. We brought her home on our maiden voyage on the 174 mile trip, come along for the ride. Two videos of the whole trip part 1 and part 2.

Very nice. Great video.
Is it normal that there are so few people out on boats
Take care and happy boating with your new pride and joy.

You did the entire journey off plane?
You'd love a trawler!

A Trawler was my first pick so Trawler speed is great with me. Check out my YouTube channel I explain why I chose this Style of boat.

Re: We Bought A 1987 Marinette 32 FB
Most of the time, we tool along at less than 10mph, but like having the speed when you want it. My rule is you need to able to outrun most things bigger than you.
One night we had trouble retrieving the anchor and found ourselves coming up river well after dark. I was puzzling over a strange light configuration when the tow captain lit up the tow. Hard-a-port and on the throttles we went!
Or the time a passenger boat returning from ferrying people to the ball game tried to run me down in a no-wake zone. (Which apparently applies to everyone but them.)
