Re: Head shower pan

Thank you! great suggestions.

I also love the HOT water suggestion. I was worried about the soap getting gummy, that should work well. I'll see if I can get it cleaned up - and I do know where I can get a new sump setup, so I should be covered. :)

Head shower pan

Does anyone have an explanation or a diagram on how the shower pan in the head is plumed? I have a 32 express and dumped a bit of soap onto the metal shower pan and I am not sure how much got in there - but it was a goopy mess. I'm not sure if the weep holes in the v channel are clogged or where the...

Re: Gaskets for San Juan Bellingham strainer

Jeff - thank you.
I understand how you created the O ring now>> Hollow tubing + wire that fits inside as a 'shim' for the end, then cement to compete the ring.
I just wasn't seeing it before.

bpbpater - I will make sure the gasket seals completely -- good tip.

Re: Gaskets for San Juan Bellingham strainer

thank you, rockit. I did cal orca and ordered 6 of these rings! thanks for the replies, I am curious on the DIY from Jeff -- I will figure that method out as well, I am sure it will come in handy with one of the other many pieces/parts I will need to get/construct.

Re: Gaskets for San Juan Bellingham strainer

Thank you for the replies! I did buy a sheet of cork/rubber from autozone to cut the ring. I was expecting this to be a large diameter O ring sandwiched between the cap and the brass (but, I honestly don't know). Now, I don't know what/where this o-ring will be - i thought it was this big gasket ind...
