The D65 pumps are discontinued, but the D60 is still available. I probably have a good used one in stock.

Most gas powered marine generators have electric fuel pumps. If yours does you need to make sure it is powering up while cranking. A test light will tell you if you have power to it.

The type and size of the generator you get will be a relatively fixed cost. The install will be the big determining factor. Is the space there for it? Is the fuel system prepped for it? I would love to have a bow thruster on my 32 express. I have run many different types of boats, single and twin, over the years and my Marinette is the toughest one to handle in a crosswind. Even a moderate breeze pushes the bow around more than any other boat I have ever driven.

Etching before paint
I have a scheduling dilemma between blasting my bottom and getting primer on. I know there is a way to either etch and seal after blasting, or clean and etch before priming. Searching google turns up way too many different opinions. Anybody delt with this?

Gear drives on std rotation engines have a drive gear, idler gear and cam gear. Cam and crank spin same direction. Gear drives on reverse rotation chevys only have crank and cam gears. I have mine wired with standard 5 pin relays separating upper and lower helm. The ignition always is turned on at lower helm. It can be started from upper or lower. The relay allows me to shut off and restart from the upper helm. But the main ignition is always killed or turned on at lower. This is ...
