Teardown: sadly, the block, pistons, and rotating assembly were not able to be reused.

Painting misc parts. After multiple degreasing, "baking", powerwashing, etc. The starter didnt quite get away so easy. It had to be disassembled, cleaned, baked, the works......

Here is the automotive core block being assembled (stbd is still in the cradle as you can see, only port is being rebuilt at this point).

Enough with the engine, they are boring anyway! How's this for a velvet drive with 3600 hrs and a salt water bath!?
