Fuel Pump Replacement

Between new filters and rebuilt carbs guess I'll bite the finale bullet and replace the fuel pumps. Although there working they look extremely old and do not have the tubes to the carbs. These are 318's with Carter four barrels. Summit sells a Carter for $22, Sierra sells what looks to be the same with the exception one of the fittings is female threaded verses barbed $125, Basic Power sells them with the hose barb fitting for $80. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.

Hi you need to replace them with the marine version with the tube to the carb for safety, even though they will probably cost more.

There's a 'dimple' in the FP casting where the third line hole is drilled. Easy enough to do, and it'll save you a bundle. Did several myself. Secure the metal fitting with epoxy.

PS: Other than that line, there's NO internal differences.
