Post by Toucan »

Hi, does anyone know how many 26 footers were made and what years they were in production. I have been a fan of Marinette's since the 80's when a friend lived on one of the 32's. The boat the "Minnnow" and yes the skipper was Tom Gilligan of course. Tom, if you're out there, Hi to you too.

Welcome...very cool that you have a 26'...have always liked the look of them. What kind of engine does it have?

No idea how many were made, but they do seem to be more rare than the rest of the boats.

Sorry to not get back sooner, lots of other issues, wiring, water pump, rudder packing, bilge pumps etc.... Yeah, she's pretty cool. Mine has a Crusader 220 (305ci) Now we need trim tabs. She won't plane short of 3500 rpm. Unacceptable. Engine is strong as all get out but the prop looks a little smallish to me.
