I have a 1988 37’ double cabin with twin Crusaders. Would anyone know what size shafts are on this? Most info I find is for older or smaller boats.

My 37' with small block Chrysler has 1.25" shafts. The big block Crusaders (Chevy's) may be bigger.

Put an adjustable wrench over the shaft and tighten it until it is snug. Then remove it and measure the gap between the jaws with a tape measure. Write the size on the bulkhead for the next time.

Well, I’m 1,053 miles from it now but will be on it at the end of July, I might just do that, it’s in brackish water and the visibility isn’t very good. I’ll probably see the guy that cleans the hull and ask him to do it next time.

You can measure it where the shaft connects to the transmission. In the engine compartment.
