Drawer pulls, source for

Post by bcassedy »

I have gotten to the point on our recently acquired 41' Marquis where the "must do" list has been almost completed (still have to scuff sand, prime and paint the bottom -AND- sand, fill in imperfections, sand, prime and finish coat the transom in preparation for new name & port signage... Just minor stuff... 🙃🙃🙃 ). Anyhoo, there are a number of drawers & cabinet doors whose drawer pulls are either missing or broken. I've been looking online for replacements without success. I'm --> almost <-- at the point of making my own, and I've never undertaken such a craftsman level workmanship project but if nothing, I'm willin' to give it a try.

However.... does anyone have a source for these kind of drawer pulls? Used would work, new would be ideal. They basically are teak routed pulls that fit into and are glue in place into recesses in a drawer or cabinet door.

ANY help / suggestions much appreciated!!

Measurements.... and detailed pics:
Note - Robalo220 - They're different than the West Marine as those are slightly smaller. Their width is 4 1/16" while Marinette used pulls that are 4 7/16" wide (a 1/2" wider meaning the recess would still be visible as the Marinette's exterior flange is only 1/16" (1/8" total) leaving 3/8" (3/16" each side) exposed.

I'm thinking that to get an exact look, I may have to fabricate them myself. :(

We have a winner!!! :D :D :D
Sample order arrived today. They're an extremely close match. The only difference noted is that the corners of the section fitting into the handle recess of the drawer are 90 degree right angle where the pulls that came out of the boat have had the 90 degree sanded away. Easy modifiction.

Thanks again, Robalo!!
