Re: Cable Steering
I have a question regarding the steering wheel nut size. The transport company lost mine and I have no idea what size it is. If it's a standard 3/4" or ? Forgive me I'm new to the forum and couldn't figure out how to post a question. Nothing turned up in the search. Thanks in advance.
Re: Cable Steering
I have hydraulic steering on my Sportsman. It is awesome!

Re: Cable Steering
I could use helm steering box and backup cables for 77 Marinette 32 ft Sedan. So far I have not been successful at lubricating my 40 yo cable in the FB helm.
Re: Cable Steering
I tried just about every way I could think of to lubricate the steering cable and box on my 37 ft aft cabin. Nothing worked so I replaced it with a newer cable and steering box. It now works great. If you go this route, keep your old parts. You will need some of them to mount your new system. Good luck.
