On mine, someone who 'worked' on it before me failed to properly secure all those hoses. The Admiral (wife) and I always ran the blowers for 4 to 5 minutes before starting the engines--using a timer--but the blowers did nothing since the hoses were disconnected!

Can't see how the hoses are CLAMPED to the vents. That's the critical area, so they don't rattle off on you.
