Dinette parquet, looking for a section

Post by bcassedy »

A section of our dinette's parquet floor is missing one of the pieces (popped off when lifting the adjacent access panels fpr the AC pump/valve and I didn't notice ). It's possible it's down in the forward bilge but I haven't located it yet. It's likely it'll be "uggy".

Anyone have a spare square section -or- pieces from a square section they'd ne willing to part with?

Thx,
Bill

Bill, I don't know exactly what you are looking for, but I picked up a dinette table that is parquet that I most likely will not use. Not sure if that could help?

Are you still looking? I am taking up my Parquet floor. I have lots of squares in decent shape...

I could use a couple of squares. I did find the missing piece of the square I originally mentioned. It had fallen into the forward bilge and floated towards the bow. It showed up when I took a shop vac and was cleaning the water out of the bilge. Floated right up to the vac's nozzle. The fwd bilge pump had caused it to stay forward.

PM me and let me know what arrangements we can make.

Thx!

I need some squares as well. I spilled antifreeze on the floor and I think a lot of the parquet might release from the floor. I don't know if I can reglue it. I would like to buy about 20 squares (6 inch by 6 inch.

We replaced ours with interlocking foam rubber gym floor tiles, wood grain, looks good, feels good and if its damaged easily replaceable. Might also add very easy to cut, although I cut mine on a band saw you could probably cut it with a razor knife.
