One thing I miss on the new site is going to last post on the thread especially on the long ones on less I'm missing something

Doc, all, Clicking the tiny image on the list of threads right beside the poster name will go to the latest posting. It's really small. 
You can also use the User Control Panel at the upper left - then the tab Board Preferences -> Edit display options to change the order.

By the way: At the top of the page is an "A" with two arrows like this v A ^ which changes font size making it more readable. It doesn't increase the size of icons.
