Great check list. Even greater is the speed with which you turn to-do's into did's. Looking down your list, a pointer: When you install the remote oil filter, make sure the line is well supported at key points. The guy who put mine in did not support the cable. By a great stroke of luck, it snapped from its own weight at the filter just when I happened to be inspecting the area, allowing me to quickly shut the engine. It spit only about half a cup of oil with no engine damage. Talk about being in the right place at the right time. The jerk (sorry to be so harsh) brought aboard grease laden shoes when he did the install and it took months for the stuff to disappear even after vigorous cleaning.
