I just bought new Sherwood G7B's for both engines this season, I was seeming to get less life out of them between needed impeller changes each time. I might send my old ones to depco to reman as spares. For what it was worth i put new impellers in my new pumps before installation, the one was clocked wrong and I did not want to think the rotation would flip it, but when I pulled it out it had taken such a set that the fins were dead with no rebound on the compressed side, they would not even reach up and touch the housing as they went around. I think they have been assembled and laying around a long while before sale.

Probably so. One can envision the compressed vanes, sitting there for what could be years, taking a set like that.

Thank you all for the help.
Does anyone have the impeller part details that I might be able to order one.
The only source I have now is a little shop that can match what I remove from the boat. I'd like to have it when I remove the old one.
thanx again

If it is the single pocket pump with one impeller you will want a Sherwood 10615, very common impeller.
