34 Marquis convertible.
We are the three week old owners of a 1991 34 Marquis Convertible. It spent its first 14 years in Baltimore. A year ago it was transported to Macomb county, Michigan where the new owner refinished the Bridge and then reset it on the hull and began rework, He decided to sell and move out of state so it became SPIES Like Us last month, July 2016. I have a few requests of anyone who can help.
ALL the Teak exterior was removed so I would like detailed photos of placement for the transom door and other trim in the aftdeck. Many of the stainless rub strips are removed, but I don't know exactly where they were attached.
MANY of the Bridge connections (instruments and accessories) were not reconnected. Does any one have a full electrical schematic for the 34. I had one for our 32 SDFB and a 26 Sedan single and need one for this boat.
So far the boat has performed admirably. We've done Race Committee at Belle Isle, Mich. and for Ford Yacht Club in Grosse Ile, Mi. A week ago we were host Signal boat for the I-LYA Sail Regatta in Put in Bay, Ohio over three days where the boat was put through her paces in 12-15kn with 18kn gusts on the hook; it held. Went through a squall with 40kn wind and driving rain without a hiccup. The boat is SOLID. As I am slowly putting it back to BRISTOL I'd appreciate any help anyone can provide. I have all the Accessory documentation thankfully. Just need the electrical schema and any recommendation on a genset (gasoline).

Re: 34 Marquis convertible.
Find another owner of the boat which is complete. Contact and arrange for a road trip to see it. (Most M folks would be glad to show off their boats)
Take lots of picture of wiring trim etc.
safe boating,

If you still need help, I have a 34 Marinette Marquis located in Harrison Township. JR the previous owner came by a few times to look when he was putting it back together.

Please define the thought behind the name "Spies Like Us". Inquiring minds want to know.
Fine looking boat. Can't go wrong with a Westerbeck gen set.

Re: 34 Marquis convertible.
Jeff,
I believe last time I talked with the owner. He said he was having trouble logging on to this Marinette site.
The name comes from his last name. "SPIES"

Sad Day! Sending all info and pics to the broker today. I’m hoping it goes to a good captain.
