Velvet drive oil levels

I had just run the boat as I was testing the fit on a used trailer I bought from Metalhead, so the fluid was hot. Going back this week end and will heat it up and check the levels again.

You could also weld a T handle to the pipe plug and you would not need a wrench and could have it long enough to get to it better.
just an thought. cheaper than 50 bucks.

Cold, the oil level MUST be at the top of the stick, at least 1/2 to 3/4 inch Above the full mark. Important!

That's good to know. I'm assuming that the level is checked with the plug inserted with just the first thread engaged.

Rockxx that's the way the original owner of mine told me to check the fluid level. One thread is to check it.
