Fresh water pump

Post by Odyssey13 »

Any suggestions on how to access the water pump that is in a remote position on a 32ft sedan. I have a leak but cannot tell if its from the pump or the lines. Considered cutting a access hole from either the engine compartment or the deck above the pump which is clear over by the port side.

This is where one of the greatest inventions of modern times, the smartphone, earns its keep. get some light down there (of course, not point at the camera), put the camera on a pole and shoot away. The detail on these pocket devices is amazing. good luck.

On my 32' and 37', I made both port and starboard sides of the engine floor covers removeable, For the reason of easier access to the outboard sides of the engine. It makes it a little easier to get to pumps and spark plugs. :geek:

BigM
Don,
If you want to add a signature to your post here is how.

I think this will do it - it's quite handy. even jeff will comprendez. In the upper right corner of this page, your user name appears with a triangle next to it. Click on the triangle, then click on user control panel.
In the UCP - User control panel - Click on the PROFILE tab on the left side. Click on the section to Edit Signature on the left side of the next page. Click on that and voila, a box appears allowing you to enter a signature. It has all the usual text edit tools -- bold/italic/color, etc. Here's what my entry looks like including the text edit tools. To exit, click on Board Index, again, top left.
Thanks
bill
