Ripping Audio CDs

Ever seen one that can't be ripped? I got one. Looking at the files it shows a bunch of tracks each with only 1 kb of stuff (and nothing else on the Cd). But it plays!

Some newer CDs are actually protected so you can't rip their content. If you have a buddy who is good with computers he might be able to find a way around it.
