I just installed a new white running & anchor light mast. Installed a dpdt switch to contol running & anchor lights. They seemed to work fine, the next day the accessory switch that feeds that half the overhead panel lower station trips with everything off. when I disconnect the load wire I get 12 volts with everything off??? That tells me I have an amp draw! The switch blew 24hrs after I had wired the nav lights
Looking for some troubleshooting help & tips Thanks
Wally

I ran a new 12v wire to the DPDT switch & used the trim tab switch as power. Everything is working fine. As long as I don,t use the trim tabs with the lights on I think I should be ok. It does not trip the accessory switch under the floor!!!! Yea
Thanks for your help
