My new to me boat has dual 30A shorepower with individual HVAC units on each 30A circuit. I have to plug in to a single 50A shorepower pole.
I assume that the best way to connect would be a 50A cord leading to a adapter splitting to dual 30A for plugging in the boat. Would this be the safest with the least loss of juice?
It would be expensive as I don't have any 50A cords.

I have a single 50A to single 30A adapter and a 30A to dual 30A splitter two 50ft 30A cords. With that, would it be okay to plug in as follows:
50A pole + 50A to 30A adapter + dual 30A splitter + to two 30A 50ft cords then plugged into my boat?

I imagine that this would be better than a singel 30A 50ft cord leading to the 30A splitter at the boat.

I have a 50', one 35', and a couple of 25' 30 amp cords.
Last night I hooked it up like this:
50A pole, then 50A to 30A adapter, then dual 30A splitter, then one 30A 50ft cord AND one 30A 35ft cord plugged into my boat.
I will keep and eye on it and try to see what my amps are or if anything overheats.
I may look into one 35' 50amp cord as that is the length that I would need for my dock.
