Yeah, I'd pass on the nevercold myself. I've had great experience with my vitrifrigo. It's the chrome double drawer version, top drawer fridge, bottom drawer freezer.

After a ton of research i found

https://www.truckfridge.com/tf130acdc/

749.00 new with mounting flange. It is a direct replacement for the notcold I had in my '85 sedan. A side note, in my 28 express I used an inverter and a dorm fridge for 4 yrs with no problems. Auto switching and battery monitor as accessories, It went with the boat when I sold it. It was nice to be able to plug in a laptop etc. while away from the dock.

Thanks, for the research and find. I will check this out. May just go inverter route as several folks have graciously helped me with info. Too darn cold to work on that project right now :D

Hey everyone, been awhile since Ive posted anything but I need help with my fridge. I am leaning towards just buying a dorm fridge but. How do I get the old fridge out of the boat and the new in when the door on the 28' Express is only 22 inches wide? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks , Mike
P.S. We thought about just replacing the cooling plate but its the cost of a whole new fridge :o

I believe that with the door and mounting brackets off it will fit sideways. It worked for my 1988 28 express. Good luck!
