318 timing chain tensioner

Post by honestcharlie56 »

For anyone interested. A timing chain tensioner from the Dakota v-6 engines will fit on any Chrysler small block. How much slop have you guys seen on your engines? I've got a 318 in the shop now with a single row chain, it's so loose I can't believe it was on the gears.

FYI, tensioners do not work with double roller bicycle style chains. It will self destruct!
