Marysville Marine is were I got my non metallic cutless bearings. You just have to know the exact sizes. There is also cutless bearings in the rudder tubes, usually you have to cut the bearings in half and put one in the top side and one in the bottom.

Carl,
Full length bearings aren't needed. The supporting points are more than adequate. Additionally, when it comes time to change them (in several years), you'd find it very tuff to remove.
NOTE - FastJeff had a process on an old site that used a reverse ground "V" chisel to remove old bearings.

I purchased my non-metallic bearings from this place:

Worked out great!
