I have the source and tooling price to do either plastic or aluminum we are looking at doing a 37 ft house boat now. If anyone has the need or a suggestion of what the best material would be I would be happy to order a run of either.

Sun will quickly wreck plastic and you'll have to re-do. An anodized (if possible) or just painted metal will last and last. I'm sure someone with 3D printing skills can knock out something -- but that's a tall order.

Im in northern Ky and have a source to anodize them if we place the order in aluminum. My boat is a 73 and the track is plastic and still doing well. I have a friend who upgraded to the aluminum and the poly track and said he liked the plastic better. I would like to see if we can get enough people to order the fisrt time to help with the tooling cost.

I'd be interested. Didn't know the track would be the same width across the spectrum of different boats thru different years.

I have a 1972 28' express and need to replace the window tracks. I want them in aluminum. If anybody can assist me in locating a supplier I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for any assistance. I reside in southern indiana across from louisville ky.

How many feet would you be looking for? I would have to buy new tooling and run a minimum footage to start the new mold.

What ever it would take to replace all of the tracks. I will measure it and advise. It will probably Thursday before I get a chance to give you a number.
