Rails and fittings

Finally got my 28' express home and on the hard in my lower drive. Spent the last day removing rails and hardware to prepare for Topside paint. Any suggestions as to the best way to clean up the old rail and mounting brackets besides just hand cleaning and buffing. Just experimented with one and it cleaned up but a lot of work and a lot of hardware. Considered replacing but started looking at prices and quickly changed my mind. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

This setup is about $125.00 and sure it can be had cheaper when things are on sale.

This may also be an option, but the 6 inch may bog some under load, but the reviews look ok.

I wish I had taken pictures of the table I refurbished. It was very oxidized and the top has some 1970's brown vinyl pattern glued to the plywood. I took it all apart and polished the aluminum legs and put marine carpet on top. Looks MUCH better. Wifey said she could not believe it and would have tossed it in the bin.

You'll have to look up the grits and what the colors mean. You will only need two or three of them depending on how much polish your looking for.
