SITE STORE / FORUM SUPPORT

Postby carl » Sun Feb 05, 2017 8:45 am

Okay, I just purchased two blocks of the FORUM SUPPORT online at the SITE STORE. I encourage everyone to support this forum as best you can. I think many don't realize that there is cost involved with keeping a forum up and running and safe 24/7. I think we're just getting started with lots more good information coming. Keep up the good work MetalHead, we all appreciate your time and effort.

On a different note, I'm not sure how many separate subforums you are allowed to have here but here are some suggestions that could be stand alone topics you may wish to think about adding in the future:
1) Topside Paint and Preparation
2) Bottom Paint and Preparation
3) Toilets/MSD/Waste Systems
4) Fresh Water Systems/Hot Water Tanks
5) Drivetrains/Shafts/Struts
6) Steering and Rudders
7) Bilge Pumps and Blowers
8) Climate Control
9) Through Hulls
10) Corrosion

Can you tell us the secret on how to set up a user name at the site store? I can only find login once it is already set up. Thanks, Ed

I also had a problem, as would not accept my forum user name and password.

When you go to the store through the link that MetalHead has posted, you then go to the upper right corner of the screen and hit "STORE", that will take you into the store page, then on the lower left side of the screen you will see a "Log In" where you type in your username and password, but this is not the same username and password you use to log into the forum, it is the username and password you set up separately for the store, they are separate and different log ins from one another. Now if you haven't set up a separate username and password for the store then you need to go back to the first page and "Register" for the store.

As Carl has stated, the Store login/registration is a different account than the forum. You will need to setup a user account in the store just like you do with other online purchases.

I want to add more items to the store once we get more familiar with the interface. I have been looking at some other "looks" for the main site to make it easier to navigate. More to come .... :) !
