When we bought our boat finding out it’s heritage was a chore. We could not find another one out there like it. I talked to a few people familiar with the operation at the original factory location, (Louisville area, KY). Calculating the approximate time it closed and moved to Harbor Master, (TN), we figured maybe it was the “Last One” made there. “Last One” was also a promise to my wife on buying no more large boats. Promise kept, so far....

Ha I had to get in on this one. My Dad had a band named the Blue Mondays so with my last name being Monday it seemed fitting. Getting off the boat on Sunday makes Monday a little more Blue!

What's in a Boat's Name?

Post by Busia »

Anybody know where Hamtramack Michigan is? I was born there, and I named my boat for my Dad's Mother. Hamtramack was all Polish, and Busia is the Polish for Grandmother, which is what I always knew her as when I was little. She deserved to have a good boat named after her.
