Winterizing Tool

Post by Trowerpower »

I recently purchases a Sea Flush Funnel and used it to winterize our Marine air ac unit. It works very well! It fits into your strainer and you use your wet vac to blow air into the strainer and pushes the water out of the unit. While the vacuum is pushing the air in the strainer open the valve and it blows the water back through the line and valve out. You will hear the air bubbles under your boat. Will work on your engines too. Www.seaflush.com.

I use my oil pump to suck the water out. Pump is out already while changing oil in engines for winter. Pour in RV antifreeze while running a/c.....done. Mine stays in the marina all winter. 4 hoses to get water out of. The two engine strainer to seacock hoses. The A/C strainer to seacock hose. And last but not least, the toilet to seacock hose.

All have a great Holiday Season!!!!

Nice! Merry Christmas! Could not make pump come on. I guess I waited too long to winterize.
