The Kentucky River locks have been closed for over 10 years. This summer they will be open from the Ohio river up the Frankfort Ky. I will try to attach a link, Joe If it does not work You can look up Port Ky sight and find the article their.

Outstanding. There'll be a lot of work to be done at Lock #1 as it's partially full of mud. We make a yearly trip from Cincy to Madison, In. We stop at Carrollton, Ky. and go up to that lock & dam to fish. We might lock thru and venture up the Kentucky.
