confirmed top end

Post by johnsomb10four »

what is the fastest confirmed (by gps no current) speed anyone has gotten out of a 32' sedad with either the 318s or 360s. how stable is the ride? does the ass of the boat get up out of the water decently?

Get on the Marinette site on Facebook, there is a video of one with twin 360's doing 40MPH at 4,00RPM, he says it'll do 50-54 wide open, looks pretty smooth. I would post a name but I'm not sure that's allowed :?:  Tried to link it, and it won't let me. :( :(

32mph flat water.
33mph following sea.
4200-4300rpm.
Always runs bow high so use tabs to put bow down a little. Stable at max rpm.
Twin 360's 16x16 props.

I've been on a 37 Sedan that does 40mph+ but he repowered with Crusader 496ci engines. Sounds like a greyhound bus and moves through the water effortlessly.
