DualPro Battery Charger PS-3 Professional Series

Three bank 45 AMP total automatic battery charger has a three year warranty. It charges three batteries individually at 15 amp each. It is a smart charger and will shut itself off when the batteries are fully charged. I installed the charger this past July 2014 and removed November 1st. It is fine for standard size automotive style batteries but it will not charge a 4-D battery. It will time out before it is fully charged if the battery has been drawn down to say 50 per cent. It comes with three charger lead extensions of five feet. I have the manual and the box it came in. I have $400 invested asking $200.

Don't know what you mean by "time out". This battery charger should charge your 4D's with out problem. I don't see a time on this charger at all. I have a Zantrex 3-20 on 8 D's.

I would talk to mfg before replacing.

I did contact the manufacturer. They told me it was not capable of charging a 4 - battery. It would try to charge it for 16 hours and if it did shut itself off before charging is complete.
