Wanted: twin engine sportsman hardtop

Post by Robl »

I'm searching for a sportsman hardtop with twin engines. I'm ready to buy just need to find the boat. Seems like a needle in the haystack, they don't appear to have made many with twins.

There is a BigM 32' sport fish listed on yacht world, with twins & a trailer.

BigM
The boat lists as a Sports-fisher but it really looks like a Express model as it has no upper helm!
Good luck on your quest. :)

Thanks guys but I really don't want the upper station, just a hardtop. Got to be one out there somewhere.

Since the one you seek with the twin config is rare, consider looking at one with an upper station and then remove it. Your chance of finding a better boat is improved considerably. Jeff Perry (absent from here for a while now) did just that quite successfully.

There is a twin sportsman without a bridge west of Port Clinton, OH on Rt2 just east of the nuclear power plant. Its been sitting in front of what looks like a fishing business for a while. I have no idea on condition but it is/was for sale. Next time I go past Ill look for contact info if its still there.

Yes, this is the "Sportsmen" model. A beautiful example as well.
