1980 28 Fisherman Hull Demo Project
All, First time member officially not just a viewer. Prefer the forums layout vs facebook group honestly. I have dealt already with some marinette owners already in my project. We'll here it goes decided to turn this boat into a center console with outboard power and started gutting the hull down to the bare structure. Im trying to figure out the best way to list what i have left to salvage that owners could use. If i'm allowed ill keep this thread updated with photos as demo progresses. I'm close to pulling off the top and wanted to post if there is any interest in this item as a man cave or someone make it into a bar. I plan i cutting it across all window post at the gunwale.
Let me know what you might need and if interested.
rear rails
bow rails
flybridge railing steps
kitchen cabinets and storage cabinets
some of the items i have off already.
Thanks John

Fascinating project! Wish I was closer so I could come by and help.
The transom will need extensive bracing for an OB(s) powerful enough to plane her off. Not to hard to do with aluminum, just angle brace her up off the bulkheads forward of the transom. My homemade, wooden dink boat is set up like that with 1/8 " aluminum knees--light and very stiff.

Yop. I plan i running support off stern forward transfer load. The only issue is the slight radius on the transom so im working on my cad design for a flat fit.
