Possibly in the market for 32 express

Post by seef158 »

I am kicking around the idea of a 32 express since my 28 was totaled. If I do this I want a hard top express, no fly bridge and not a sedan. It doesn't seem there are a ton out there. If anyone sees any for sale let me know, post a reply here with a link, pm or email me at seef158@hotmail.com

Thanks.

Just remove the bridge. A express have dual helm. I'd sell mine for the right offer.

I bought an 87 32 Express last summer in Marblehead OH. There are a lot of Marinettes out there. I looked at a few Express models. I bought a fly bridge Express and then removed the bridge. It wasn't all that hard. I had thought of buying a Sedan (because there are more of them around) and turning it into an Express by removing the sliding doors and enclosing the lower cabin. I would have moved the helm over to starboard while I was at it. It would have pretty much been like the Grand Sport model.

What all is entailed to remove the bridge? Any estimate time wise?

I took the bridge off a 37 Sedan today for transport. A friend an I took one hour. Of course we weren't trying to save anything. We just cut all the wires and cables. Just 14 screws hold it on.
