Re: hardtop off express

well im trying to find a buyer for the empty hull. Scrapping is a last resort which I havent started yet. I was just checking if anyone has bought or sold the hardtop by itself. I have a lot of parts to part out if I do decide to scrap it but I would rather sell it to someone who will make something...

hardtop off express

I have the hardtop off my express hull that im selling. Does anyone know what is a good selling price? Its in good shape and has the spot light on top. The wood panels underneath need to be replaced along with the light fixture but other than that all it needs is a good pressure wash. My uncle I bou...

Last change before scrap yard 1974 Express 32 hull

I have posted my 1974 Express 32' hull on ebay for the last auction run before I remove everything and cut it up with a plasma cutter. If anyone would like to suggest any other location I can post it for sale please do. If anyone is interested please bit on it because I would hate to see it go to wa...

Mildew removal

Im about to start restoring my interior and have a mildew problem on some of the wood inside(cabinet doors and trim). whats the best way to remove or does all the wood need replacing? Is it possible to use a solution to remove and stain or can I just sand it down and stain?

Re: Before I crank and sitting for years

I actually have another 32' Express that has been gutted out. No engines or interior. It would be great for putting outboards behind it. I found this and thought it would be cool to make that Hull into a center console boat with twin outboard engines. Just need to cut the roof off and continue the c...

Re: Before I crank and sitting for years

I consider myself a good mechanic. Thats why I was comfortable buying this boat because I knew it would cost too much if I didnt do the work myself. I have experience doing complete engine rebuilds (1983 Toyota 22R) but that was a 4 cylinder and now i have 16 which is a lot more time consuming. I wa...

Before I crank and sitting for years

I have a 70's model Fisherman 32' with twin 318's. It has been sitting for I don't know how long and wanted to make sure I take all the proper steps before I crank them up. I believe one of them wont turn over and I was told it wasn't frozen from overheating just from sitting. Any advise would be ap...
