Re: 1990 32 wiring Diagram?

The blower wire from the bridge comes down the pole into the lower helm. If memory serves me correctly it connects to a terminal strip inside the lower helm. The blower switch above the lower helm should also be connected to that strip and then a wire from there should go back to the blowers. Basica...

Re: 1990 32 wiring Diagram?

Parallel solenoid is inside lower helm on a 32, 1986 Sedan. I assume they remained in the same location until the end of production. Only 1 switch to engage the solenoid is on the lower helm next to ignition toggles. There is no parallel switch on the bridge unless it was added after market or perha...

Re: One of the Last Ones

Have seen other 34s with the transom door. I think that was the factory's (Harbor Master?) attempt to make the Marinette more refined/modern/convenient before ultimately ceasing production. Similar to the Marquis line that Marinette produced in the late 80's. It would be nice to see one of these in ...

Oh man. Didn't even consider the main wiring being on the same side. At least you have it solved!

Re: Electric feed to 41' boat - major issue

All sounds good. I'm curious what you find out. The original Raritan heads should be 12VDC and could be CROWN or CROWN II models (non vacu flush). There is sometimes a sticker on the back of the motor housing. I do have the Crown manual with parts list if you need a copy. "right....whats a cubi...

Re: Electric feed to 41' boat - major issue

Everything in the boat is working fine off feed 1, assuming load management so not to trip the main breaker? Do you have 2 main 30Amp breakers on the inside panel? Do you have a generator and the accompanying switches to toggle dock feed and generator? I've replaced several melted AC connectors and ...

Re: Seahawk Colorkote - Question on usage

I've been using Seahawk Smart Solution for the past 3-4 years. Not sure about Colorkote but have had zero issues with Smart Solution. Goes on easy and stays on. I ground the old Interlux stuff off with power sander/grinder. It came off like black powder. Had that crap everywhere! Prepped any bare AL...

Re: Having an electrical issue

Does the fridge work on the 12VDC system?.....Generally there are 3 switches for the fridge (assuming its the original Norcold). 1 on AC panel 1 on DC panel 1 front bottom of fridge The breaker(s) will trip if a direct short to neutral/ground or extreme Amp draw such as seized equipment. The buzzing...

Re: Portable generator usage?

Should not be an issue. The batt charger and alternators charge in parallel. The alternator should back off if batts are on top. As a general rule I turn off my batt charger before cranking to avoid any possible issues but I've also started engines plenty of times with charger on with no issues........
