Seahawk Colorkote - Question on usage

I have some pressing questions about the potential usage of Seahawk's Colorkote anti-fouling bottom paint... --> Quick background: our (new to us) 41' Marquis purchased in October 2021 is currently on the hard at a local marina. I power washed the bottom and found there are several spots (some small...

Re: For those into nostalgia !

Bill, Survey had been done by PO for his own reasons but most of the surveyors 'need to do' listed items hadn't been done when we bought the boat in Oct. of 2021. We did get insurance thru Safeco but it's at a premium. By getting the survey list attended to and having the same surveyor verify those ...

Re: For those into nostalgia !

At 2° here in Cincy, hibernation doesn't sound like a horrible idea... Last Wednesday it was 60° and I spent the day down at SS2 attending to items on the surveyors "must do" list. Whittling it down. Big 'gulp' is finding the Sea-Fire E-350 engine room extinguisher (last attended to in the...

Re: Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all as well... Splash Day can't come soon enough.... Well, as long as I can get the myriad number of "to do's" on the 32' (to be sold😕) and the 'newer' 41' Marquis completed by May 1!! I can foresee the sacrifice of beef and fowl in the near future... ....there's a Burger...

Re: possible sale coming up of 32 B floor Plan

We looked at a 32' Plan B floor plan down in Louisville back in 2010 during a weekend 'round robin' journey looking at boats. It was in pretty rough shape and we passed on it. While, as JEB said, unique layout, I guess we felt the absence of a dinette (plus rough exterior) outweighed the layout beni...

Jim,
Good advice. Lots to check but with so many comes the ability to get quality plus best pricing.

Re: Kentucky Tornado Close call

Glad, really glad, all's well with your boat but deeply saddened at the loss suffered by so many.
