Re: Gas fillup, dilemma over

I have a 100 gallon transfer Tank in the back of my pick-up truck, and I haul my gasoline to the boat from the bulk plant. I get pure gasoline, most of the time, although I have also used 10% Ethanol in the boat, during the summer months. I have not had a problem in the last 40 +/- years that I have...

Re: Help! Scentry 410 Vapor Sensor

I had the same model on my 32' Express, it always said we were good to go.. Even when I had fuel spraying out of the fuel filter on to the HOT manifold..! I don't trust them..! If my nose says something's not right, then I'm looking for the problem, if the nose says I'm good to go, then I'll go..! J...

Re: Solar panels & house bank

I had a 1968 32 foot Express, I put two solar panels in a set, 200 watts, (100 watts each) on the helm station hard top. They ended the low battery voltage issue I had, every time I came to the boat and wanted to start it up.. What's more, the new owner has had no problems with the batteries being l...

Hello Ed, and welcome aboard.. I am a double amputee with carbon fiber legs.! I have a "87" 32' sedan with fly bridge.. I just got married last December 30th, and the new wife has no boating history. I have been slowly teaching, as I run the boat, single handed. "KOKOMO" has twin...

Re: blower vent hose

I once used dryer vent hose on a searay 260 sundancer I had. I got the hose from Lowe's, and it lasted almost as long as it took to install it.! Really it didn't last a full boating season.! However, that being said, the searay exposed the ends of the hose to sun and weather, but the "M's"...

Re: Alcohol / Electric Stove

I sold the 32 Express last fall and got a 32 sedan/bridge, it has a alcohol/electric stove with a metal cover over it. I put my combonation toaster oven/coffee maker/ grill top, on the metal cover, and use a two burner hot plate to cook with, if not using the rail mount gas grill on the aft deck, or...

Re: Marine Sealant

I am mounting a new transome mount transducer to my 32 Express, this year.. I contacted the makers of "FLEX GLUE" because they clim it good on metal.. They said it could be used to mount the plastic transducer to the aluminum hull, with no problem.. But I;m looking for a 99% permanant appl...
