Re: Engine Swap
Looked heavily into a 350 swap for the current 318's, in the end decided to stay with the 318's. Motor mounts, bell housings all the re positioning verses old out and new in was certainly the path of least resistance. Never been a Chrysler fan but after a lot of research found the 318 to be a well p...

Have you looked into converting over to hydraulic steering, that's on my radar after the engines.

Re: picture of hull annodes.
Just received the zincs via US Mail last week, also purchased a set of Struts with bearings installed about a month ago. Re: picture of hull annodes.
Replacing my zincs this weekend, bought them directly from Marinette, they claim theirs are the only ones that are the true alloy, would love to hear from others on this. Mine had sat in a marina for a number of years because of owner health issues and although it ran well dormancy took its toll, in...

Re: paint
Painting mine as we speak, using Rustolem Top Side Gloss White, sanded with 120, wiped down with alcohol then rolled. Going to do the stripes in navy blue this weekend. So far everything has gone well, have even had several complements, not surprising as dull as it was.

Re: Sportsman Helm Destroyer Wheel
The one on my 75 Express fly bridge is a 3/4" tapered shaft, prior owner said he bought it off eBay, not sure if the helm is original though. Steering is the next project, after the engines, keep us posted.

Re: M owners in Georgia
Mines on Lanier, about 35 miles northeast of Atlanta, was fine as of Sunday. As of this writing mid-late morning Wednesday that could be another thing, very strong storms all through North Georgia.
