Re: keel fin
Carl, Correct, you will need to drill the anodes that you get from BoatZincs. If your existing keel (and trim tabs & rudders) don't have holes drilled in them yet, you'll need to that as well. The good thing, after you've done this the first time to the mounting surfaces, you've got a template t...

Re: Source for Aluminum tracks for windows
Questions about installation of the new glide material into the original style tracks...
1. Can the install be accomplished w/o removing the existing tracks?
2. If so, what would be the recommended procedure?
Thx,
Bill

Re: keel fin
Your yard guy is either well intentioned but woefully mis-informed -or- trying to sell you on work your boat doesn't need. The welds that exist between the hull and the keel are TOTALLY sufficient for protection. If these are the original welds, they were done in such a manner as to never fail to pr...

Re: Proper painting of hull
I would suggest spot checking some other location on the bottom (sand and/or scrape) to see if your boat's bottom paint consists of primer and then bottom coat. The "measles" areas could be where there was a touch up done but not done correctly. A spot check would verify. If spot check(s) ...

Re: Dinette Restoration Complete
Very nice job!! Ours had the same wasted space under the table. It was divided into 3 separate sections. I built boxes to slide in/out with finger holes for pulling out. We store pop/picnic supplies (napkins/paper plates/extra plastic ware in those. I am going to do some reinforcement of the table's...

Re: Overhead DC Accessory Panel Restoration
Where are you getting the circuit breakers from? I'm certain a number of folks have need of replacements or would like to have spares or just replace the old ones.

Merry Christmas folks! Jeff... Amen! The aft plug's sitting on the lower console and it's the only thing allowed to be there (as a reminder). The "spring to-do list" has plug replacement in BOLD RED and highlighted. ... if those 2 things get past me, then I'm blind and no one here would wa...

I can say for certain, the bridge of the 37/39/41's are wider than a 32. . Oh well, was worth asking..... ... one of my spring projects (#15,001) for 2017 ("into infinity and beyond...! " ) is to make a Bimini top/enclosure for the cockpit area. Plans all drawn up, material for cover purc...
