I'm trying the pictures here. Hope it works.
The first pic is the placement of the vent on the counter between the couch and stove.

Re: exterior flooring suggestions needed
I haven't yet done anything but appreciate the responses. Question?- How does one post pictures on the posts? It's nice to see the end result as well as the descriptions. The Lonseal looks great! I wonder what the original Nautolex looked like. Not that has to look original, but curiosity has me won...

exterior flooring suggestions needed
Our 1986 32 FB, with the exterior/exposed cockpit area, is in need of a new floor. The PO screwed down 3/4 plywood and glued exterior carpet to it. Besides holding dirt, the top layer of plywood delaminates in ridges at times, it leaks , and it is hard to clean. Storing things under the floor hatch ...

Re: 32 Sedan Adding Air Conditioning
Yes, My 32' 86' FB, of which I just removed the Genset, had the exhaust going out the 3rd hole in the stern. And the factory AC on mine was under the dinette seat, left rear corner, facing the table and windows, when the seats are removed. There is a drawer in front of it If you want pictures, I cou...

Re: Starting challenges
I hope your battery tested for more than 12V. A 12-volt battery should read between 12.5 and 12.7 volts when it isn't being used. A 6-volt battery should read between 6.25 and 6.35 volts. Anything less than 12.5 or 6.35 volts indicates your battery needs to be charged or replaced (if its charge depl...

Re: 32 Sedan Adding Air Conditioning
My 1986 32'FB sounds similar. It has the CruiseAir AC under the dinette seat towards the stern, with snaked vents to the main cabin above the stove, and one in the bedroom over the closet thing. Circulating pump is under kitchen floor. AC pan drains to a small pan which is shared by the shower drain...

Re: Not even sure how to ask about this...
I brought my '86 32FB down to Pensacola area (saltwater) in March. So I can't attest to long term problems. I brought it down to sell it, after the trip, but like it enough to keep it. The cost of adding freshwater cooling from the raw water system it has, is pretty steep. Certainly a cost one would...

Re: more steam questions
My 1986 has twin 318's. Yesterday, one produced white steam. The other one didn't. The one that had the steam, had the big muffler felt a bit warmer to touch. If outside temp was 75, water temp around 80, shouldn't matter if one engine had steam, and the other one didn't. I usually run engines aroun...
