Re: Inverter....Overnight Constant Power
I have run my old cpap off of a sears jump start box inverter. Recharge it during the day and it will last all night. Also, new cpap has an 12 v adapter that can connect to a marine batt or cig lighter.

Shiny aluminum. Do not paint! And use a stainless steel wire brush to clean the surface where the anodes attach.

Re: How do you make coffee at anchor?
I have heard good things about these generators from a relative. Half the price of a Honda and has a 30 amp plug. Buy 2 and run in parallel for more power. I plan on getting one this season.http://www.northerntool.com/shop/tools/ ... _200623983

Re: Sliding cabin screens
There should be an adjuster on the bottom of the screen. Turn it to take the tension off the roller, then pop the screen off.

Re: 440 intake
no salt water here-fresh water cooling Fresh water cooled = closed loop cooling. Block is filled with automotive type coolant. Raw water i cooled uses seawater(salt or fresh) for the coolant. Lake water is full of minerals and dis similar metals would cause galvanic action and corrode quickly. Cool...

Re: 440 intake
I believe the marine intake is angled to keep your carb as level as possible. There might also be some safety issues involved. I would contact edelbrock and see if the intake was made to fit a marine engine.
