Re: Questions about desire to re power a 32 Sedan with outboards
Dang Jim...you just went 'all the way there'! I am not trying to accomplish creation of a speed demon  My main objectives would be safety, reliability, added room in the boat, quietness and fuel economy. The weight shift from center to rear would be one of my primary concerns. I believe that I ...

Questions about desire to re power a 32 Sedan with outboards
There is currently a post on the Marinette FB page regarding re powering M's with outboard/s. I have seen this topic before on both here and the FB page. I thought I would pose there here on the forum because I know that there are some on here that are not on FB and/or are more knowledgeable. I am s...

Re: 32 Sedan Adding Air Conditioning
Our 1989 32 Sedan has A/C (We actually just replaced the original 17k btu unit with a 16k btu Webasto unit). As described by others, the unit is located under the dinette seat closest to the stern. The pump is in the bilge almost parallel with the main unit. Our boat, as with yours, only has single ...

Re: Question to owners about your 32' FB Sedan
I have read several threads and debates on the merits of cruising slowly on one engine. I have never tried it. Think i might give that a try this coming season and experiment with results.

Re: Alternator / Ignition / Ballast resistor questions from a dummy
Thanks for the input guys. Based on what I am hearing/learning I think that I will go with the "If it aint broke why fix it" strategy and keep it original. We definitely do carry xtra/spare ballast resistors on-board.

Re: Question to owners about your 32' FB Sedan
Barefoot99 is correct, we travel on our 1989 32 Sedan "Aquaholic". Our 1973 28 Express "Easy Does It" is our 'Home Boat'. We Love both boats. I have never owned or even navigated a 37 M, but I will say that the few times we have been aboard them we drool a bit :-) The 32 is wonde...

Re: Question to owners about your 32' FB Sedan
Now that I am home from my 'work' trip in the Florida Keys I have our notes/stats in front of me from our cruising this past Summer. I thought I had shared these previously, but i cannot find where we did. June 8th - July 9th 2018 we cruised starting from Green Turtle Bay (Lake Barkley, KY). We went...

Re: Question to owners about your 32' FB Sedan
Below are some stats from our trip Summer of 2017. I am looking for our stats from this past Summer (2018) when we traveled 1600 miles on Lake Barkley, Kentucky Lake, Cumberland River, Tennessee River, and The TennTom. Stats as far as about 1.2 mpg were similar though I believe. We probably averaged...

Alternator / Ignition / Ballast resistor questions from a dummy
Happy New Year all! One of the items on my 'to do list' this Winter is to obtain a spare/replacement alternator for our 1989 32 Sedan. During our journeys last year we noticed that the one alternator did not seem to be putting out adequate amps. In researching and looking for a replacement several q...
