Re: Fuel prime

I have had the anti syphon valve for the generator stick several times. They locate them right off the top of the tank, threaded onto a nipple coming out of the tank. Also make sure you have no leaks along the fuel lines. A pinhole can suck in enough air to stop the draw of fuel. Good luck

Re: Sliding cabin screens

Got the screen corner rollers from swisco. They appear stronger and better made than the original hardware. They are not crap and didn't strip out when adjusted.

Re: Sliding cabin screens

After doing research on screen door rollers and not coming up with much, someone on the FB site commented that Swisco sells the replacement corner rollers. They were correct $3.50 each, what a deal

Re: New oil pump?

Mopar performance at one time sold a 5/16 hex shaft that would slide down the hole for the intermediate shaft and into the oil pump. The engine could be tested to make sure you have oil pressure by running a drill motor on the shaft to prime and test the motor for oil pressure. This could be done be...

Exhaust manifold tubes

I am replacing a leaking manifold/riser/swivel elbow on my 360 Chrysler. It has the log style manifolds with exhaust to the rear. The original manifold was installed with the water tube and had the water entering the front of the manifold at the water tube. My new manifold (Barr) instructions says t...

Re: Oil leak without engine running?? Any ideas?

Check the front drain on the oil pan sump, my boat has a small ball valve installed, not sure if this was original equipment or added later. Check your oil filter for leakage. Oil could also be from a cooling line from the velvet drive transmission, or the trim tab reservoir.

Re: 318 "302" heads.....

I believe that the 302 heads came out in the mid 1980's. My father in law had a 28' big M at the time with a tired 318. We pulled the motor, freshened up the bottom end with a .030 over bore, balanced, upgraded rod bolts and the "302" heart shaped combustion chambered heads. The upgrade wa...
