Re: Pettit Bottom Paint

We have been using Pettit Ultima eco bottom paint for four seasons now with very good results. We put on one thin coat every spring and the bottom is just as clean if not slightly cleaner in the fall at haul out than when we used Trilux. One added benefit is that the Ultima eco paint covers more squ...

Re: 37 - 41 without flybridge

We run the majority of the time from the flybridge. I don't like the limited visibility from the lower station. I do like having the lower station. It comes in very handy when doing engine maintenance. I also like having an extra set of instruments and controls. One of the members has a 39 sedan wit...

Re: 39' aft cabin waterline length

Joe, I don't have that measurement. I believe we measured around 15' to the highest part of the fly bridge when it was on the marinas hydraulic trailer prior to going down the road to the launch ramp. My guess would be around 13' to the top of the base and 8" to 12" less to the bottom. We ...

Re: 39' aft cabin waterline length

We trucked our 39 from Cincinnati to Michigan City, Indiana. We had to remove the fly bridge. We did not have to remove the seat bases. If you have any questions about the bridge removal, feel free to ask. I have done it twice. If you do truck the boat, find a transporter that can load and unload th...

Re: '37 Dual Cabin Flybridge Seat Post Removal

Scott,

The bases are through bolted. The post should not spin in the base. To get more height in your seats you can add a spacer between the seat bottom and spider. You could also add a spacer between the floor and seat base.

Bill,
It is a Mansfield Traveler. Mansfield is now Sealand. Too bad you are in Ohio, I have one that I would sell.

Re: What Windlass to buy

Good sells a rope/chain windlass. They offer a trade in for your old windlass. It may be a easier way to do your upgrade.
The information is located under SUPPORT, TRADE IN/UPGRADE.

I have the CFD model and it works well.
